    I want to tell my story of addiction to pornography.

    I started masturbating to porn around 15 or 16. When I was 17 my penis shrunk when in a flaccid state due to chronic masturbation; I immediately stopped masturbation and after a few weeks my flaccid size returned to normal. After the size returned I continued to masturbate to porn and my penis shrunk again when flaccid. I have been PMO'ing from 17 to 35 when I stopped in October 2017. I used to PMO between 1 - 3 times daily. My penis has been shrunk in the flaccid state ever since 17; because my addiction was so strong I continued to masturbate because I would always get hard when watching porn. Fast forward today I have been PMO free for 6 months (Oct 2017 - April 2018) my penis in the flaccid state is still shrunk. As for erections I can't get any at all, no morning wood at all. Sometimes when I fantasize about women I might get a weak erection; but it is very weak.

    Now I know my addiction was really long about 20 years, so I know I have done a lot of damage I am giving myself at least 2 years to recover maybe more. I have seen some improvements in being PMO free for 6 months my penis was sore when urinating but much less now. Last month I started taking Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin D, Zinc and Magnesium in which I feel I am getting better sleep and don't have as much headaches or brain fog. I also walk on the treadmill 45 mins 6 days a week; so I am getting some exercise in. In these 6 months I might of seen few nude pics by accident; I tend to fantasize about real women, I am trying stop but it is very difficult but I am getting better.

    My questions I have are:

    1. When will my flaccid penis size return? I used to be 4 or 5 inches when flaccid now it is 2 or 3 inches.
    2. Should I get tested? I am guessing I have low testosterone or a hormonal imbalance.
    3. Is there any other vitamins or supplements I should taking? What about multivitamins? What about testosterone supplements?
    4. What about my erections? I am guessing they will return when my flaccid size returns and stabilizes.
    5. How long will you think I will take to recover? As I mentioned earlier I give myself at least 2 years maybe more.
    6. Don't you think my penis shrunk in the flaccid state for 6 months is too long? Maybe I have done so much damage, It will take longer to return to it's normal size.

    Any help would be appreciated, I just want to go back to a normal life I feel I missed out on, I am very depressed. I feel though I have made a few steps in the right direction; I finally ended my addiction to pornography which is the hardest part, now it is all about the recovery.

    I don't think you should worry about this, there are so many factors not just related to PMO. Temperature etc
    2. Should I get tested? I am guessing I have low testosterone or a hormonal imbalance.
    If it would put your mind to rest, you may well be normal.
    3. Is there any other vitamins or supplements I should taking? What about multivitamins? What about testosterone supplements? No, unless your doctor recommends something. Healthy diet is key.

    Maybe, don't worry.

    Don't give it a time period, quitting is for life.

    I wouldn't focus on the flaccid state, maybe it's smaller when not beating it all the time. That's healthy.

    Are you overweight? A healthy diet and your exercise is good for testosterone and your health.

    Yeah I am a little overweight. I really don't eat out anymore; and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.

    Also I was wondering why does your flaccid penis even shrink from excessive masturbation? How is this even possible? Why are the reasons; lack of blood flow, low testosterone. I read something about high prolactin on this website when someone was talking about flaccid shrinkage; what is that?

    I heard of that before but what is Pelvic floor muscle imbalance exactly? Your pelvic muscle becomes imbalanced because of PMO? Is it the way you masturbate? How does this imbalance lead to flaccid penis shrinkage? Is there exercises that re-balance my pelvic muscles? Does pelvic re-balancing return the flaccid penis to it's original size?

    Your penis is fine. You have been unconciously clenching your pelvic floor to stimulate your prostate to ejaculate faster to porn. Google hard flaccid. You simply need to stretch your hips and pelvic floor and you will allow the blood flow to return to your penis

    Thanks for the information. I have a few questions though:

    How long before you see results of doing pelvic floor and hip stretch exercises? How long before my flaccid penis returns to normal size? So my flaccid shrunken penis is due to pelvic floor imbalance which is in result of lack of blood flow to the penis?

    I don't know man. For your last question, yes 100%

    I have been terrified by my condition for the past few months. I have come to accept it now in a peaceful way. It seems that the condition of hard flaccid is equally as mental as it is physical. Beginning of summer I was 245 pounds and could not do a squat, let alone keep my heels on the ground when I attempt. After weight loss, hip and leg stretching every day, and just overall "acceptance" that everything will be fine, I find myself with a more normal looking flaccid, although I still turtle commonly. When I get back to school over summer and meet with my GF, I think everything is going to be fine

    Were you doing these exercises everyday (7 days a week)? Was your penis also shrunken in the flaccid state? Did it help with your erections?

    everyday, it helps with erection. My penis was shrunken. Now it is looking beter.

    OK thanks for the information. Can you give examples some of the exercises you did. I see some online for pelvic floor stretches were you take deep breathes while your in a stretching position. For example you pull your legs near your chest and take like 10-15 deep breathes; it is called the Supine Pelvic Floor Stretch.

    I am going to see the doctor this Tuesday. Is there any specific questions I should ask other than getting full body testing done?

    Should I ask him about pelvic floor dysfunction? Can the doctor do tests for detection of pelvic floor imbalance/dysfunction?

    My flaccid penis has been shrunk for 10 months since I started no PMO and I have not been able to sustain any erections other than weak ones when fantasizing about women which are very weak; I don't think these are my full erection because it does not sustain.

    I am starting to freak out; I think my case may well be one of the worst cases of chronic PIED. I have had no sexual experience ever so I think that has a lot to do with my long recovery.

    I have seen some improvements; 1) my seminal leakage after urination has completely stopped; 2) my penis feels less sore.

    The only thing I feel now is being tired and lethargic and sometimes trouble sleeping and also a dead penis. Maybe I just need more time but I am getting worried. I exercise everyday walking on treadmill burning 500 calories everyday; sit-ups and pelvic floor exercises everyday.

    Also I eat pretty healthy; lots fruits and vegetables. I was taking multivitamin, Vitamin D, Vitamin B complex and Horny goat weed but nothing now. I am waiting to get testing done by my doctor before I take any new supplements.

    I recently got some blood work testing done for hormones and testosterone. Here are my results:

    TSH - 3.45 mIU/L
    FSH - 6.1 IU/L
    LH - 4.4 IU/L
    Prolactin - 9.4 ug/L
    Testosterone - 10.6 nmol/L

    They all fall in the normal range; I don't know if you guys can tell me if some are too high or low. My testosterone I notice is very low, the range is 8.4-28.8 nmol/L; mine is 10.6 nmol/L or equivalent to 305 ng/dl. I believe this is very low for a guy my age which is 36.

    Do you think there is a link between my flaccid shrunken penis, low libido, low sex drive and ED to my low testosterone? Or is this just part of my flatline?

    I don't know if my doctor will prescribe any medications for my low testosterone; do you think testosterone supplements will help in any way? Or maybe just increase my testosterone naturally like lifting weights.

    I got more tests done:

    Magnesium - 0.82 mmol/L
    Testosterone - 11.3 nmol/L
    Testosterone Free - 302 pmol/L
    Sex Hormone Binding Globulin - 18.2 nmol/L
    Zinc - 14.5 umol/L
    25-Hydroxyvitamin D - 70 nmol/L
    Vitamin A - 1.6 umol/L

    Once again my testosterone is low and also my Vitamin D is below the reference range which is 75-250 nmol/L.

    if youre still shrunk that means your body is still rebooting. Also, stop fantasizing. The more you can disassociate yourself from sex the quicker youll win.
