I've recovered. You can too.

My path to recovery from porn induced ED has been a long one. For the longest I thought something was physically wrong with me i.e a venous leak and never made the connection between porn and my inability to maintain an erection. I couldn't maintain an erection standing up, sitting down, I needed constant stimulation, it was horrible. My brother was the one who brought up the possibility of porn as he had experienced some similar issues to. It was then I made a commitment to no longer watch porn. I only lasted 2 weeks. I felt horrible and got a prescription for Cialis to use with a girl and failed horribly. It was then I realized I couldn't half ass it. I took the plunge and at the start of the new year went 90 consecutive days without porn. I made and I had some days were I felt so incredibly horny that I didn't know how I'd make it. But I made and 5 days later, I relapsed. To porn. And I felt like shit. I made a realization that I'd been so focused on avoiding porn that I wasn't really dealing with the addiction. It was almost like the 90 days was a countdown to how long I could watch porn again. I stopped counting days, there was not going to be a limit for me as I was done with porn forever. I made some changes to my routine, I started taking Horny Goat Weed everyday and doing a daily kegel routine but more importantly I stopped keeping track of how many days I had abstained. I joined a couple of dating sites, met a girl, had sex in multiple positions (and I recently checked this was 57 days after my relapse). I was considering using Cialis but I forgot and I didn't even need it. So safe to say I'm cured, I can have sex in multiple positions and jack off without having to use porn while standing up. The amount of progress I've seen is truly amazing and this stuff works. You just have to commit to it, it doesn't mean you won't see videos of girls twerking or something that turns you on, that is unavoidable, but avoiding that dopamine blast from porn will do wonders. So that's my story so far, if you guys have any questions, I'll try my best to answer them.

Congrats, man! It really is encouraging to be able to read stories like this. I'm a somewhat young rebooter myself (23 years old) and have already noticed significant changes since quitting porn and masturbation (morning wood, occasional successful sex, etc.). I'm looking forward to the day where I too can confidently post my own final success story and be rid of this horrible problem for good.

Congratulations man. Thank God this site and information exists because without it many of us wouldn't be sure porn was our problem like you thought at first. Thanks for having the strength to not only conquer this but to share it with us as well. Best of luck from here on out bro.

I bought the Horny Goat Weed last week but had some success without it. I mentioned it to my girlfriend and she said she would kick my ass if I took that stuff because I'm plenty horny already. LOL. That said, what do you think the effects of it were?

It definitely made me a bit hornier, but it was more of a confidence boost if anything.

A nice short concise story. Well done man. Counting days certainly does tend to be the focus alot of times. I think counters are best served as anectodal evidence used for new rebooters to gauge when its feasible to have sex again. Mine keeps me accountable as well. Thanks again for posting this!

Nice feed dude I can relate to this totally and I do believe if you constantly worry about it you won't recover I've read a lot of stories and the guys that did all just forgot about it. That was the turning point for them and the addiction is more harmful than the ed side effect

Another update, had sex again yesterday with a different girl, and the guy downstairs worked completely fine and didn't have any issues reaching orgasm. Guys this stuff works 100%. I thought I was hopeless and was destine for a sexless life until I discovered this site and Yourbrainonporn. Keep at it and you'll see results.

Do you get morning wood and spontaneous wood?

I get morning wood but not everyday and it isn't always 100% erect (some days it is). Spontaneous erections happen occasionally, but not that often. I do get erections when I see a hot woman that really turns me on and that never used to happen to me with real women although this doesn't happen every time. What I have noticed is that I get erections when I'm in a situation where there is a possibility of sex. Like I can be texting a girl and she says something suggestive like she wants to come over and hang out. Stuff like that gives me an erection when it never did previously.

"I made some changes to my routine,"

I think this was key to your initial reboot
