    True. But, holding off orgasm for long periods of time with circulating energy up into higher centers can be damaging. Been there, done that; I would never not orgasm for long periods of time without circulating my energy internally every day.

    I think my orgasm frequency could go as high as I'd want it to go at this point of my reboot. I've done 2 to 3 orgasms in a week with no dramatic after effect issues, I'm sure I could do more.

    At 44, I'm just not old...and neither are you in your 40's, 50's, and 60's.. even 70's.

    Our sexuality should not be diminishing much, our boners shouldn't disappear at 35 that's for sure -- that is a bill of goods fed to you by the propaganda machine (aka the drug lobby, victim culture, etc).

    The truth is this -- get off porn, don't smoke, don't drink to excess, exercise, take care of yourself and your boner is basically yours for life, barring serious medical conditions.

    On the other hand, I have work to do with my pelvic, inner thigh, and groin muscles, etc. I believe that years of PMO abuse has misaligned my pelvic floor, it's a fairly common thing too, it's talked about a lot on other forums.

    This is not something that heals just by quitting PMO (at least in my case), you gotta lengthen (and relax) certain muscles as well as realign the body. That is on my to-do list when I get back from vacation. Misalignment and overly tight muscles messes with blood flow to the genitals as well as causes pain...for me I only get pain when I drink coffee though, at this point.

    My groin muscles go into spasm with caffeine use, basically, and it has caused anxiety attacks as well in the past -- those were a real bitch too.

    Couldn't agree more. When I couldn't get up I scoured the internet for information. Without exception they all basically said that a man's sex life diminishes considerably after 45. You'd think that there'd be more info out there for men, sites that would give one hope, but on the big wide web there aren't any...except for sites like this. I bought into the notion that I would just never be able to be sexual again unless I took a blue pill. I'm now almost 60 and have absolutely no trouble getting a boner. In fact, I sometimes get them when I don't want them, like in the shopping aisle. :eek::cool: Low-testosterone is a catch all phrase which is medical speak for: I don't have a fucking clue, but I'm towing the company line here. I'm not an anomaly here. I'm fat, I drink too much, and could definitely take better care of myself, yet my boners are always good now. I do walk a lot and lift weights and I'm assuming that helps. But, what really helps is not fapping or looking at P.

    When we gain a bit of momentum with the reboot we start to see a lot of positives. Focussing on those positives revs up our engines in wonderful ways. I don't have a clue the science behind it and I don't really care. Boners for life! :D

    Got back yesterday, bro. Jet lag is a bitch! But, I'm back on the job.

    I'm continuing to see some leveling up regarding libido, mind-dick connection, and erection strength...this recovery isn't over yet. Probably the biggest change I noticed over the last week was the feeling of having a loaded gun. It just felt ready to go, whole, complete.
    The feeling comes and goes; non-linear.

    I've been AWOL for a while but am back and glad to see you continue down the road of recovery and to continue to post. You are truly an inspiration. I've been floundering around for a year now, stuck in a narrow band where I'm not going off a cliff but I'm also not soaring to new heights.

    Your statement on circulating energy up into higher centers intrigues me. What you you mean by it and how do you do it? Lately I've been reducing my frequency of orgasm to sometimes as little as once every two weeks, and am wondering what you would consider holding off an orgasm for too long.

    40-I have a question that’s been on my mind lately.

    How can you tell if you need more orgasms or in fact need rest?

    I was noticing increased anxiety, problems staying asleep at night, ED problems, all the Classic PIED reboot problems. The last couple months.

    So I’m doing a mini “reboot” of no orgasm, but sex is okay since I’m married with a beautiful wife.

    39 days no O at the moment. To me, my symptoms are pointing to too much O before I’m completely ready since I’ve fallen back into some “flatline” symptoms.

    Any insight? Don’t mean to hijack your thread but wanted to get your opinion.

    At this point in my reboot, I think I need more sex and more orgasms to wake up the fire (rewire more basically)...once the circuit is fully reawakened then I would probably go down to once every 7 to 14 days.

    That's my new plan right now. :) Glad to see you back! I'm fully convinced that for long time PMO addicts like me it takes years to get back to what most would consider normal, you're not alone.
