So i already cut down a lot on the drugs i use. I only smoke weed a couple times a week and use hard drugs a couple times a month. Where i have had periods where i used daily. Whenever i'm clean for a while i just can't resist taking drugs when i'm on a party or something. Afterwards i always feel so guilty. Also because when i used drugs, the next day i always relapse and fuck up my streak. So i really want to stop using and could really need some advice from someone who has been there.

I only quit cigarettes, other drugs are not a problem for me.I can avoid weed without problem, but I have a friend who had quitted with daily weed and weekend drugs.
He chose to change because his life was going bad.He cutted bad companies and in the beginning also friends who smoked. He is trying to focus on improve his life and when you are busy on that you have less time for drugs and don't want to waste improvements for meaningless activities.
I really know that it is easy to say,but try to put your life and your good desires first and cut the things that can obstacle your improvements.
There is an interesting book "The power of habit",maybe can help.

Good luck man,it's your life and you have really the power (and you only) to change it.

I feel with ya, have the same problem with some milder stuff like 2-FA,2-FMA and such. i don't use it as much (did do it 2-3 times a month and sometimes redosed in modest doses) but also started fapping maratons afterwards. Now I feel that it is really affecting my life and I will take a big break. I don't think I was/am addicted, but masturbating on these things is really good.

If you class weed as a drug then I suppose I overcame my "addiction". Was a hardcore weed smoker for 10 years from age 13 to about 23. I am now 25 and haven't smoked it properly in over a year, had a joint a few months ago and It really didn't do anything for me. If it was a few years ago I would never of just been able to smoke a joint and call it a day. I would of wanted to buy more. I guess I smoked so much weed in my lifetime that it no longer appeals to me.

I want to chill out on the herb, I know it's costing me my fortune. :'(

And likely with my usage behavior, it's not optimal for my long term health goals.

Smoked weed a LOT until my early 30s. Everyday when I got home from work. Quit about 15 years ago and never looked back. Weeds negative effects were outweighing the positive ones. That's why I quit.
    It would:
1-make my PMO/sexual addiction skyrocket when I was high
2-hated the munchies, ate like a pig
3-made me tired, lazy and apathetic
4-would blow off working out and stamina decreased.

I don't miss it much. I miss it sometimes like I miss PMO at times.......but I know it will lead me to down a dark road of regret and negative consequences. Not at all worth it to me. And these days I don't even think about weed anymore to be honest. I'm too busy being active and alert. Plus my g/f doesn't do drugs either......big plus!
