Another day no PMO. Was good to celebrate 10 years of sobriety. Worked. Have had some temptations with women online, facebook unhealthy, need to stay off it again. Investing has been up and down, whats new? My SLAA sponsor frustrating me,doesn't ever seem to get back to me and we have not done much written work, but I have to stick with him thru 90 days of sobriety and re-evaluate from there. Today I send an email out to see how my business looks for the next quarter, hopefully response is good. We just do the best we can do.

Another day no PMO. Guess I am getting closer to 90 days, pretty wild, major time. Need to stay focused. Investing gets a little crazy and effects sleep. ITs all about balance..Diet, Exercise, Mind, Social. I went to join my running club this morning and nobody showed up. Annoying, but it still got me out running. Business is taking a hit..ladies dropping out of clinics. Maybe tennis business will slowly dissolve, thats ok. I like not working too much, just upsetting when winter business goes down because I make much less and work much less now. Its the one part of the business I want to stay strong (Ill take a few hours a week off in the summer, but this is a bit depressing.) Anyways, must do the best I can do.

Another day no PMO. Investing has had a lot of ups and downs lately, but I'm learning to weather the storms and stay somewhat balanced/centered. Its good on the side, but the term "don't quit your dayjob" was created for a reason.
Went to SLAA meeting last night. Turnout was low. Kind of sad how many people come and go from the rooms. Its just such a hard disease to beat, or whatever it is, so many people give up. You can even see it here on this forum. Its a level of misery..some people are willing to accept it or certain levels of it. We must persevere. We must keep doing our best and work towards bettering ourselves. We must hold on for the bumpy ride. There is light at the end of the tunnel. There is hope and there is a way.

Dont give up. Low mood and depression, well for most of us it comes and it goes too

Keep on keeping on and you'll feel better :)

Aye hang in there. For me the black moods always go in a day or two, and I feel proud afterwards that I weathered the storm. Is there any particular reason for them?

No way, don't give up! You're a day away from 90 and so close to 100!

It's true we see dozens come in and out of this forum... but that's just what happens with any kind of commitment. And also some folks need to take a break from the forum in order to not think about the addiction too much. Sounds counter-productive, but in some cases, overthinking recovery can actually be harmful. Of course, massive desertion does not mean people are taking a break... more like giving up. But I've been there and so have you. Some folks will be back. We hope the others will have found the key, or at the very least, have learned to wean off of it enough to lead healthy lives. I really do hope that for them.

I second what the others said. Don't worry about wanting to give up... the feeling shall pass. ;)

Thanks guys. It was a tough couple days. Financials have been shaky and its been a tough overall time in the head. But I have not done anything stupid and really appreciate the support. This makes this forum a truly special place. Love is all around us.

Another day no PMO. Hit the 90 Day Mark! Its a big anniversary in the no PMO world, for me at least. The mark of major time no porn, masterbation or orgasm. Its been a rollercoaster ride and its not fuckin easy at all. But I've decided to stick with it.

Things are a bit better on track. Financial woah's have been a bitch lately and there has been some depression, but things usually smooth out eventually.

Another day no PMO. Need to go for another 90 days now. What will it take? SLAA meetings to continue, phone calls, prayer and add another element I see a lot-meditation. Meditation is one goal for this next three months. Will also continue not to go up to girls in public and grab their phone #s. Friendly interaction is fine, predator interaction is not.

Another day no PMO. Went to SLAA meeting last night. Was pretty good, nothing too eventful. Ran a 10k in the morning and had a light day teaching tennis. Overall it was a fairly mellow, enjoyable day. Good running always makes me feel good. Financials are ok for now. A little less exposure and trading is key, if anything, for overall health.

Today I am meeting with a sponsee this morning and then getting a lot of errands done. Look forward to it all.
