Day 180. No masturbation, no sex, no O.

Here to answer any questions or offer support if I can. 6 months isn't a long time but it's a solid start

Well done, six months is fantastic! No porn either, I presume?

    No porn. No masturbation.

The hardest is not dating. I have committed to a year of celibacy and no relationship. Been struggling with that one. I really want to ask out a girl but I'm holding to my commitment. I trust I'll be healthier after a year of sobriety

Could you describe your daily healthy habbits/routines and the main reasons for your success in sobriety please? Thanks in advance. Congratulations btw! :)

I actually got a gf during my longest streak (118 days). I wanted to go to 120. The last 40 days she tagged along with me, which was very fun. Girls are very open to this subject as long as you don't put yourself in the role of a victim, but as a guy who took on the fight. Remember that rebooting is a dual process: unwiring through nofap, and rewiring through actual physical contact and bonding with a woman.

I like your determinism, just make sure you have the right reasons. It's not about the number of days, but amount of healing you want. Maybe you'll be fine after 150 or 200 days, just stay observant.

    Good luck Skywalker11!

12 step meetings, phone calls, prayer, meditation, and just refocusing the energy to my career. I go to Sexaholics Anonymous, it helps

Wow that's very respectable. Also interesting that it took this long for the first wet dream to occur. Hopefully you won't be hit with a strong chaser.

I didn't have any chaser effect really. The feeling of a nocturnal emission was incredible actually. Back to staying celibate and working my 12 step program.

The biggest challenge has been during mornings and also fighting away the urge to ask out my neighbor. I have a huge crush on her and I wish it would go away. My sponsor tells me not to ask her out because she's my neighbor and I'm trusting that advice. I have truly been struggling with romantic obsession about her.

At the end of the day, my self esteem has to come from an internal source and not some woman or substance. I'm still learning about that. I've committed to one year without a relationship or without sex and I fully intend to honor that commitment. A year of sobriety actually seeks achievable. I've also stopped smoking weed

Firstly can I say as a Star Wars fan, I love your photo :)
I have also given up Porn, Masturbation and Ejaculation so it's good to see others doing the same. Like you it has been a long time for me, but I have not had a wet dream.

Perhaps you can test the waters by having a friendly chat with her, maybe drinking a cup of coffee at your place or hers? That's a smaller and safer step than asking her out, but you still get to enjoy her company and if she responds well, you can go out and eat something for example.

sounds excellent. A year sounds like a LONG time, but I not as long once you achieved 6 months :) I've reached 4 months sober and plan on no dating for 6 months, even though one year seems to be the ideal. What program are you in with the sponsor?

Yes I'm open to that, I just haven't seen her in weeks. We always have friendly chat and my mind wants to believe she might have interest. I'm turning it over to God every day, many times a day.

The wet dream was very intense

After time the wet dreams will stop. I don't have them. Once your body gets used to not ejaculating, the semen and sperm production will slow down

    Is that a good thing?

Waaa. Its kind of exciting reading about such a long streak. Makes you sit there and think: I want to go there, that place sounds awesome! Congrats!
